The West Elgin Soccer Association is gearing up for another exciting season, and we need you to help make it amazing! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us in roles like:

• Coaches & Assistant Coaches

• Referees & Game Day Helpers

No experience? No problem! We’ll provide the support and resources you need to succeed. Whether you’re a soccer enthusiast or just love being part of a great community, your help makes a real difference for our young athletes.

Volunteer Roles

Minor soccer leagues often offer various volunteer positions to help the league run smoothly. Here are some common roles:

Coaching and Player Development

• Head Coach: Lead practices, develop player skills, and manage games. Please visit our "Coaches" page for more information.

• Assistant Coach: Support the head coach and help with training sessions. Please visit our "Coaches" page for more information.

• Team Manager: Handle communication between coaches and parents, schedule updates, and manage rosters.

Game Day Support

• Referee: Officiate matches and ensure rules are followed.  Please visit our "Referees" page for more information.

• Linesperson: Assist referees by monitoring out-of-bound plays. Please visit our "Referees" page for more information.

• Site Convenor:  Be the main point of contact on game days.

• Tournament Volunteer: Plan and execute tournament events.

I Am A Student.  Can I volunteer?

• Yes - we'd love to have you as a part of our team.  This is also a great opportunity for high school students looking to complete their volunteer hour graduation requirements!

How Do I Volunteer? What is the Process?

• You need to complete a volunteer registration form online.

• If you already have a PowerUp account - Click on the "Get Involved" button
